The main question of the ages still remains the same. “Do you consider yourself to be a Good Person?” How you answer this question will make a difference to you. We live in an age where substance & materialism seems to be the main criteria by which we judge ourselves. This is unfortunate because history constantly tells us that it is what we are NOT what we possess & that this does not define us. Your standing before God is what is important. The blessing of the human race is that we are endowed with a conscience. Conscience and memory enfold us. It is the goodness of God to be able to justly and fairly minister to our conscience. This gives us hope for forgiveness. This forgiveness is for ourselves and all those who have wronged us. The joy of knowing that you have been justly forgiven by God himself and so you are able to forgive yourself is a wonderful way to start life anew. This then leads to the power to forgive other people who may have wronged you.
This ability to see ourselves with the eye of our conscience. We try many a therapy to quiet the voice of our conscience as it is an inconvenient truth. The news of God is that there is only one way to quiet the voice of conscience. This is the old yet ever new story of the CROSS and the perfect one - the Lord Jesus Christ who took our punishment in our place. This allows a Just God to forgive you. You are asked to come to Him and acknowledge your need before Him.
What we believe in a nutshell: There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19). In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal, future return to the earth in power and glory to rule for a thousand years (John 1:1, Matthew 1:18, Matthew 28:5-6, Revelation 20:4). In the Blessed Hope, the soon return of Christ to receive His bride at His coming (Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18). In the fall and sinfulness of man and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the blood of Christ (John 14:6, Romans 10:9–10, 1 John 1:9-10). In Divine Healing of the human body provided through the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:5–6, 1 Peter 2:24). The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, is given to believers who ask for it, with all the evidence manifested in the book of Acts (Acts 2:4, Acts 1:8). The Church of Jesus Christ is the universal, spiritual body of believers from every tribe, tongue, kindred and race of peoples, and is indwelt by God through the Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfil the Great Commission on earth (Ephesians 1:20-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Colossians 1:18-19, Revelation 5:9-10). In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16-25). In the resurrection and final judgement of both the saved and the lost, the first to everlasting life and the second to everlasting damnation (Revelation 20:11-15). In the new heavens and the new earth and the holy Jerusalem, the city of God, descending out of heaven and filled with God's glory (Revelation 21:1-2 & 10). Churches at present & FOUNDING PASTOR
